Eligibility for Assistant Primary Teacher (Special Education)
- Essential Qualification: Graduate from a university established by law in India, D.Ed (Special Education) or equivalent diploma recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) as per Uttarakhand Government Primary Education (Teacher) Service Rules 2012 amended 2025. Must have passed Teacher Eligibility Test-I conducted by State/Central Government.
- Experience: Not specified.
- Desirable Qualification: Permanent resident of Uttarakhand State, or registered in any district employment office of Uttarakhand, or as per Uttarakhand Government orders dated 07.02.2019 and 28.06.2019 regarding education from recognized institutions in Uttarakhand for Group C posts.
Age Limit
Minimum age 21 years and maximum age 42 years as on 01 July 2025. Age relaxation is applicable for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes and other categories as per State Government orders.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on the verification of marks in the application forms and attached educational/training certificates checked against original records. The date for verification will be informed separately through notice.

- Candidates must apply on the prescribed format.
- Attach self-attested legible photocopies of educational certificates (clearly mention marks obtained and total marks in theoretical and practical subjects separately) and a self-addressed envelope with Rs. 50/- postage stamp.
- Completed application forms must be sent via Speed Post only to the office of District Education Officer (Primary Education), Bageshwar.
- Applications must reach by 05:00 PM on 09 January 2026.
- Applications received by ordinary post, courier, or hand delivery will not be accepted.
- On the envelope, boldly write: “Application for Assistant Primary Teacher (Special Education) related district name with advertisement number”.
