Eligibility Criteria for Sainik School Jhansi Recruitment 2026

Candidates must meet the following  educational and age criteria to be eligible for the Sainik School Jhansi Vacancy 2026.

1. TGT Social Science (Contractual & Temporary)

• Essential Qualification:
  • Four years integrated degree course from NCTE recognized university with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject (History, Geography, Economics, Political Science).
  • OR Bachelors/Honours Degree with 50% marks in concerned subject combination.
  • AND B.Ed. Degree from NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks.
  • OR Three years Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from NCTE recognized Institution.
  • OR One year B.Ed. (Special Education) from RCI with at least 50% marks.
  • OR Post-Graduation in concerned subject with minimum 55% marks.
  • CTET Pass: Qualified in Central Teachers Eligibility Test (Paper-II) by CBSE.
  • Language: Competency to teach through English and Hindi Medium.
• Desirable Qualifications: Experience as TGT/PGT, experience in a residential school, knowledge of computer applications, aptitude to train cadets for NDA exam.

2. Art Master (Contractual)

• Essential Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Drawing and Painting/Sculpture/Graphic Art/Fine Arts with at least 50% marks.
  • B. Ed. degree from NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks.

3. Physical Education Teacher (Contractual)

• Essential Qualification:
  • Four-year integrated course/Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education from NCTE recognized Institution with at least 50% marks.
  • OR Graduation + B.P.Ed. from NCTE recognized institution.
• Desirable: Represented State at National Level in Sports, knowledge of English/Hindi, Diploma from National Institution of Sports.

4. Music Teacher (Contractual)

• Essential Qualification: Higher Secondary with a degree or diploma in music from recognized institutions.

5. PTI-cum-Matron (Female, Contractual)

• Essential Qualification: Same as Physical Education Teacher (B.P.Ed. or Bachelors in Physical Education).

6. Lab Assistant Chemistry (Contractual)

• Essential Qualification: Intermediate Science or equivalent in the subject.

Age Limit

As on 10 April 2026:

• 21 to 35 years for most posts.
• 18 to 50 years for Lab Assistant.
• Age relaxation applicable as per government rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates.
